I wanted to write a distributed prime number generator. It'd be a sublime mix of Ruby and C++ and it'd make lovely numbers appear across multiple computation nodes. Then when I had some numbers to work with I could find interesting ways to visualize the distribution of primes. This is an ongoing work in progress.
